Hello, my name is Colleen and I am fortunate to have been raised by a father who loved Nature and took me and the family camping and fishing. We have camped and fished from Ontario to British Columbia. I have a degree in Geography from Carleton University and have a great understanding of geomorphology. I have also been studying and foraging herbs since 1988. Lately, I have been hiking and identifying plants and mushrooms in the Canadian Shield highlands and want to share them with you. My hope is that you will fall in love with Nature, respect it, preserve it and share it with your children.
